Rodney Dobson, who volunteers for the Coshocton Recreation, has been named the United Way Volunteer of the Month forJjuly 2011.

For the past 20 years Rodney has been involved with Coshocton City Recreation in various capacities including coach for Little League, Pony League and Girls Softball programs.  He has been a member of the Project committee for the past 15 years which helps raise donations for the various programs.  He is also a softball and baseball umpire and has been a member fo the Recreation board for the past several years.

Rodney also volunteers with the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard/CPR instructor.

He lives with his wife Rebecca and has 2 sons, Eric and Kyle and a daughter, Chelsea.

Coshocton City Recreation currently has about 320 children enrolled in their summer programs.
